 A little road trip...
A bite to eat at The Wro Bar in West Kirby, Wirral. Honestly guys they do the best food! If you are ever in the Wirral area be sure to drop in there for a bite!

Hi everyone, I hope you have all been having a lovely weekend. This outfit was something I threw on at the last minute to go for a bite to eat. The Tiger top was something I got in Forever 21 a while ago and I just love what a fun and carefree vibe it gives to the outfit. We went for a little drive in the countryside over the weekend and I took so many photographs as usual! Please check out my Instagram sweeties, my username is @llanddwyn247

Don't wait, don't hesitate...

Hi everybody, I am back from Wales and I am sure you all know what I mean when I say I have the post-holiday blues! I think the worst thing about going away is that it takes so long to settle in to your life and work again when you get home.
Anyway, I had a lovely time and plenty of sea air and beautiful scenery so I am thankful for that! Here is an outfit of the day, which I wore before Wales to do some shopping and to have lunch. I think wearing one colour from head to toe can be flattering yet simple.I like this grey marl t-shirt and jeans because it is so easy to throw on and yet it looks quite stylish at the same time.

Here are a few of my holiday essentials:
Garnier Ultimate Blends Conditioner. This is amazing and smells great!
Batiste XXL Volume Dry Shampoo. Revives my hair in between washes and gives great volume.
L'Oreal Ombre Kit. I took this on holiday with me to ombre my hair again, but I never found the time!
I love this novel , 'The Missing One' by Lucy Atkins.
Palmolive shower gel, smells great.
Sunglasses, a must.
Berocca, this gives me an energy boost.
Wholemeal bagels, I love these toasted with scrambled eggs.
Spanish Red Wine, a glass or two of this was my evening relaxation on holiday!
Scandinavian Blackcurrant Conserve, delicious on toast!
How are you all, what have you been up to? I do appreciate your comments, I read every single one and I follow back my followers!

To the lighthouse...

I am here in Anglesey, enjoying the beautiful scenery and long walks everyday. Yesterday I went for a long walk in my favourite place here, Llanddwyn Beach and Llanddwyn Island. It is a tidal island and there is a ruined church, a lighthouse and cute ponies! There are some stunning coves and magnificent views all around. I managed to fill up the storage on my iPhone taking pictures! Here are some of the views:

                                                                       Here is what I wore:

I love the way a pretty scarf can make an outfit. This River Island one has a lovely pattern and little tassels.

That's the magic hour....

Hello lovelies, I hope you have all had a good weekend! I am in Anglesey for a week as of today, it is not a holiday as such because whilst my friends are away in Venice, I am looking after their house and pet cats for them, but of course it is a holiday really because I get to stay at their peaceful home in beautiful Anglesey. Whilst they are enjoying Gelato and Gondola rides, I will be going for walks on Llanddwyn beach.
This outfit was what I had on to travel to Wales. I added this felt hat because it was a sunny day and I thought it added another dimension to a plain outfit. I bought the hat ages ago in Winter from Primark. it was from their 'Limited Edition' range and to be honest I had almost forgotten all about it until I found it again the other day! It is a nice hat to shield you from the spring sunshine and it is soft and comfortable!

Easter weekend.

Sorry that this post is so belated, but I have had a hectic week so I am just getting around to this now! I hope that you all had a lovely Easter and managed to eat far too much chocolate like I did!
I got this selection of Soap and Glory products for Easter, so I thought I would give you a quick overview of them here.

Soap and Glory Smoothie Star Body Milk.
I love this body lotion, it smells like a delicious mix of oats and honey and it leaves your skin so soft.
Soap and Glory Heel Genius.
This foot balm is amazing for spring and summer as it leaves your feet super soft as well as feeling cool.
Soap and Glory Pulp Friction.
I love this body scrub, it has a lovely fruity fragrance and the grains are quite coarse but not too rough so it leaves your skin very soft.
Soap and Glory Glad Hair Days Shampoo.
I love the fragrance of this; it lathers up well and leaves your hair soft.

After using the Soap and Glory shampoo, my hair was sleek and shiny. I used the matching conditioner too, they both have a really nice fragrance.

What Soap and Glory products do you all like? I am addicted to the range although it can be a little expensive, but look out for the 3 for 2 offer in Boots as this is often available!

The flowerbeds are coming to life!

I like this old planter, it has a really quaint feel to it!

Yummy salad!
These Cadburys chocolate eggs are so lovely!

I spent the Easter weekend packing in as much as possible. It is so nice to have four days free, so I went to Anglesey for the day on Good Friday, then divided the rest of the long weekend between my home and my family home. Everybody was happy!

A couple of Gin and Tonics in the sunshine!

We went for a curry at our local pub, it was delicious!

A refreshing smoothie on the road!

 Blogging in the garden!

I love to see the Cherry Blossom trees in bloom!

Llanddwyn beach, Anglesey, Wales. It was a lovely, sunny day.

I would love to hear about what you have all been doing lately! I read and appreciate every single comment and I follow back my followers!
Until next time :)

Feet on the ground, head in the clouds...

A quick stop in Starbucks (of course!) to write this post.
I know I mention this all the time, but Collection Lipstick in shade 6 Bubblegum is the perfect pastel pink for spring!

This outfit brings me to the merits of a simple blazer as part of every girls wardrobe. I bought this berry/maroon coloured one from Primark a while ago, and I love the way it pulls an outfit together and makes everything look more chic. I think a good blazer can be the basis for so many outfits. Throw a t-shirt and jeans on with one or layer over a dress as I have here and it just looks stylish yet simple. On the high street, Zara, Primark and River Island are good places to buy a blazer from.
