Hi everybody, how are you all? I hope that you have been
having a good weekend so far. So, yesterday I went shopping. As you might imagine, this is a
cautionary tale and one which does not end well...!
You know when you set off on a shopping trip promising
yourself that you will be good and that you will not spend too much money? Let’s
face it, we have all been there and we all know exactly what happens next! I
headed to Liverpool One (which was the first mistake, as it is just the best
place ever to go shopping) and I managed to walk safely past the temptation of
Forever 21 (surely I deserve a gold star for that?!) but then I fell at the
next hurdle. Good old H&M. I had not even walked through the door before
disaster stuck...I liked everything in
the window. Is it just me, or do you all love it when the shops start getting
their new season clothes in stock? The coats, the bags and the jewellery...I digress!
Anyway, I went inside and spotted so many things I wanted,
but I managed to resist some of them. If you are looking for new season
transitional pieces for your wardrobe, I would suggest popping in to H&M
soon. There were so many nice coats, jackets, pencil skirts and
tops...trust me, go there soon!
Here is what I found in H&M:
Grey dress, there was no price tag, but I think it cost between £20 - £30
#Celfie top £7.99
J'aime les mauvais garçons top £7.99
Black body-con top £15
Crop-Top £7.99
The array of things I tried on!
Here is what else caught my eye in store:
Fun slogan sweaters.
I loved this sweater!
Animal prints and grey.
The coat, the bag and the perfect white t-shirt...!
I loved this look. The skirt was cute and the faux-leather jacket was only £30
Then it was lunch time, well, a girl needs some fuel to see her through a day of intense shopping! Guess where I headed? Starbucks. I know you guys will be very shocked...!
Next, I went to Primark and all ideas of restraint really went out of the window! Here is what I tried on, I did not buy all of it though...
White long line jacket £17 (bought)
Black long line jacket £17 (bought)
Grey fringe kimono £15 (did not buy)
Long floral kimono £8 (bought)
Grey distressed t-shirt £4 (did not buy) grey ripped jeans £13 (bought)
Cream textured cardigan £12 (did not buy...yet!)
Black textured cardigan £12 (did not buy)
So many cute kimonos!
What I wore to go shopping:
All Primark, except for the bag which is from Forever 21.
All in all, a successful day of shopping! What have you all been up to lately? Remember, I love to read your to comments and I follow back my followers.
Until next time,
Camille xo
Ahh, I so wanted that crop top from H&M... I'm currently managing to resist it though! The floral kimono is also gorgeous and I love the look of the textured cardigans :)
ReplyDeleteLouise / www.asseenonlouise.blogspot.co.uk
Thank you very much, so kind of you! I really wanted the crop top too, I wish I had bought it now. It is funny, I always end up wanting the things I did not buy more than the ones I did...!

Love the long coat from primark! I've seen them so much lately and they're much more affordable than the Asos duster coat! If only they stocked them in my local primark! Also love the fluffy cardigan! Xx
ReplyDeleteVividlondon.blogspot.co.uk
Thank you very much, I was delighted to get a long line coat for such a good price. I had been looking at the Asos ones too, but they are so expensive! They might get them in your Primark soon :) I loved the fluffy cardigans too, I am hoping to get one soon!

That 'panther' skirt from H&M caught my eye here in NL as well. I thought the fabric was a bit thick though but then again with fall setting in it might just be great. It might end up in my closet :)
ReplyDeleteThis was interesting post.

ReplyDeleteGourmetGlam
Particularly in love with the Primark floral kimono..So much so I may need to go out and buy that one for myself! Great post x
ReplyDeletekittensintophats.blogspot.co.uk
You know, H&M stores in Europe carry much, much nicer selections, than the ones here in the States.
ReplyDeleteI'm serious!
H&M clothes here are terrifyingly ugly, and almost nothing is wearable. They look and feel so unattractive. The prices aren't any cheaper, but the products definitely are different. ;-)
ChicAndAlluring.com
That is so annoying that the H&M stuff in the States is not as cute :-(
Deletethe stock should be the same worldwide, then it would be easier to shop wherever you are (as if we need an excuse to go shopping more!) I hope you have a great day and than you for stopping by on my blog.
