Surrender my heart...

Hi everyone, I hope that you have all been having a good week so far. As usual, outfit-wise I have been sticking to my favourite combination of all black everything! Here is what I wore to Liverpool the other day:

 Everything above from Primark except for the bag from Forever 21.

Of course, I had to squeeze in a trip to Starbucks for my usual venti iced latte (with extra espresso shot) and a couple of hours working on the blog.

I went out for a lovely lunch on Wednesday with my dear friend Claire to The Anchor pub in Irby, Wirral. The food was amazing and there was a set menu  between 12pm-6pm which offered two courses for £11.95. We opted for a main course and a dessert each. I had the wholetail scampi followed by the cherry crème brûlée which was perfect. My friend had the sticky chicken salad followed by treacle tart served with lemon curd, which she said was equally delicious. We both had a glass of house white wine with the meal, which was an exquisite Chenin Blanc. I know I mention this in every post, but I love going out to lunch (or dinner) so much. It is a true pleasure in life to enjoy a few hours of good food, wine and company. Most places do some kind of lunch and dinner set menus or offers, so going out to lunch does not need to be a very expensive treat either.

Simple make up for a day in Liverpool

I went for a walk on the beach on Thursday evening, I find it really relaxing and helpful during stressful times to put my headphones on and set off on a long walk alone. It really clears my head and I listen to my music on high volume and just forget about everything apart from the view in front of me.
