Wrap me in your arms...

Hi everyone, I hope you have all enjoyed the weekend!  I have been in Derbyshire, where I have spent the weekend visiting my family again. We have had a wonderful time catching up, going for nice long walks in the fresh air and feasting on delicious food!
On Saturday before I left for Derbyshire, I received a very special parcel from Sunglasses Shop*. I tore open the packaging like an excited child, to reveal the most beautiful pair of dark brown Polaroid Sunglasses*. They are polarised sunglasses and they are just so cool, I am delighted Sunglasses Shop allowed me to review them, so thank you very much to them! They are such a classic style of sunglasses, that I immediately envisaged wearing them with a jeans, t-shirt and heels outfit. I threw this Nirvana T-Shirt and Forever 21 kimono on to give the outfit some edge, and I was ready to go out to lunch with my family. Lunch means pizza of course, you all know me too well by now!

I love Guerlain Terracotta bronzer at the moment, and coral coloured lipstick!

I love these sunglasses so much!

I don’t know if you agree, but to me there is nothing like a pair of designer sunglasses to make a girl feel special. Sure, like anybody else I have several pairs of sunglasses from high-street shops which are fun to accessorise with, but a designer pair can really pull an outfit together and make you feel that little bit more self-assured. Let’s face it, most Hollywood stars never leave the house without their sunglasses and I can see why. They look chic and at the same time they hide a multitude of sins. Out partying for way too long the night before? Just throw you shades on the next day to hide the shadows under your eyes! Polarised sunglasses are a worthwhile investment because they really protect your eyes from harmful UV rays, so there is a good excuse to treat yourself as if you needed any encouragement! It is amazing how a pair of sunglasses can completely transform an outfit. I always carry a pair with me, even in winter. In my opinion, people always look more alluring wearing sunglasses, because they add an element of mystery to your face!
These polarised sunglasses are the nicest I have ever owned. They have patterns on the arms and a chic little ‘Polaroid’ logo. In fact, at £50 they would make an ideal Christmas gift for your mum, your sister, your best friend...or even just a gift to you from, well, yourself!

You can search for your own chic pair of Sunglasses Shop sunglasses here:

So here is a quick roundup of some other photos from the weekend. There was a quick stop for coffee on the journey to Derbyshire. I have to say, I really think the Costa Christmas cups are so cute! I managed to resist buying a cake to go with it, even though the Belgian Chocolate Tiffin looked seriously tempting. Mmmm! There was such a spectacular sunset on Sunday evening in Derbyshire, the colours were just incredible, so I have included a picture of that too. We also went out for a curry on Saturday night, but I will include the pictures from that in another post, as there was so much good food to show you!

The spectacular sunset.

So that is about all from me for now, it  has been a fun and tiring weekend and I feel so blessed to have been surrounded by my family and my pets, enjoying good food and good company. I am so excited about the direction my blog is taking at the moment, working with brands and getting to do new and exciting things. I want to say another big thank you to each and every one of you lovely readers. Remember, I love to read your sweet comments and I follow back my followers.

Until next time,

Grafea x Coco Cami

My feet barely touched the floor last week, for no sooner had I returned from my trip to Chester than it was time for me to travel to Manchester to do a street style photo shoot with Grafea* bags. It was an amazing experience, and so nice to be close to home for the day. I grew up in Derbyshire, so Manchester was always my nearest city growing up. I still love Manchester even though I live near Liverpool now, because I moved there to Liverpool do my Masters degree and settled there after that.
I loved the Grafea 'Baby Sunny' yellow leather rucksack we worked with on the day of the photo shoot. It was a gorgeous, 'zingy' colour and such a cool bag. The quality is amazing and it has adjustable straps too, which are very useful indeed. There are a lot of other styles and colours in the range, so be sure to check them out! I worked with the lovely Amy, the Photographer and PR for the Grafea brand. We had fun walking around Manchester, looking for cool locations to shoot, such as the archway covered in graffiti! We had a good giggle when curious taxi drivers were turning their cars around in the road we used for part of the shoot, they were probably wondering what was going on!
A big thank you to the Grafea team and especially to Amy, who put me totally at ease even though I had never done anything like this before. It was a great experience!

These are just some of the pictures from the day:

My new Zara coat was given a real edge by the yellow rucksack!

The gorgeous 'zing' of colour this bag gives to any outfit is incredible. It looks great paired with black or neutral clothes to give a 'pop' of colour!

It was great fun posing for the pictures!

One of the amazing backdrops used for the shoot.

So after all of that posing, I was hungry (as usual) so I had lunch in Manchester then I met my friend for a coffee before I headed home to the Wirral. It was an amazing day which I will remember for a long time to come!

Thank you for all your lovely comments and support you guys, I cannot tell you how much this blog means to me, and I thank each and every one of you for stopping by to read my posts! Don't forget to leave a link to your own blog in the comments so I can visit your blogs too. I love to read your sweet comments and I follow back my followers.

Until next time,

* I was not paid or otherwise compensated for this post, it was just a fun photo shoot with a lovely Grafea bag, which sadly I did not get to keep ;)

Batiste x Coco Cami and a lazy few days in Derbyshire...

Hi everyone, I was recently fortunate enough to be sent a sample of the new BatisteCare and Vitality dry shampoo for review. I cannot rave about this product enough, honestly you guys, this is a hair must-have. I have always been addicted to Batiste dry shampoo, I just love how it gives your hair a refreshed look as well as a lot of volume. It is definitely my go-to product for those rushing around mornings when there simply is not time to wash your hair. Here is me after using the product, bearing in mind that I had not washed my hair, I think the results are pretty impressive. It left my hair feeling refreshed, glossy and voluminous as well as smelling lovely. I have to talk about the fragrance of this product because it is just so nice, it is refreshing and floral without being too heavy. Nice smelling, glossy hair in a can? Yes please!

*This product was not purchased by me, it was sent to me for review. However, all opinions expressed are my own and honest.
I will be repurchasing this product when I run out because I was thoroughly impressed with how it made my hair feel, look and smell. It is like an extra special version of the usual Batiste dry shampoo and it really gave me a spring in my step after I used this because my hair looked so glossy and voluminous.

Batiste Care and Vitality is available here from Boots and it is currently on offer for £2.66 instead of the usual price of £3.99

Thank you to the lovely Gosia at JW PR for sending this product to me!

At the weekend I headed home to my parents farmhouse in Derbyshire where I enjoyed relaxing, going on long walks with my dog Minnie and seeing the other pets and my family. On Saturday evening we kept up our long-standing tradition of having a Chinese take away together, sadly we ate the food too quickly for me to get any photos!
Below is the lazy and casual outfit I wore to travel to Derbyshire. I added my favourite faux fur coat to the outfit before I left. What can I say, it was a jeans, jumper, boots and floppy hat kind of day!
Head to toe Primark, I am sure you guys are so surprised ;)

 A trip to Nandos, standard!

I had a couple of meeting today regarding the blog, exciting times and look out for more brand collaborations to come. The meetings were held over a steaming cups of coffee, what better way to get the creative cogs turning?!

So that is about all for now lovely readers, what have you been up to lately? Remember, I love to read your sweet comments and I follow back my followers.

Until next time,
