Fall for your type...

I don’t always get the chance to share fashion content with you here, so last weekend when I was popping out for a nice lunch I decided to bring the Canon 1200d (my new toy!) and ask my partner to get some outfit photographs for you. I felt like being quite dressed down so I threw on an outfit which I always feel comfortable in, jeans, a t-shirt and my (faux) leather jacket.

I always go for a v neck t-shirt if possible as I find them much more flattering for my figure. I recently bought this Pink Floyd t-shirt in Primark as I have always loved wearing band t-shirts and I think that they look cool without trying too hard. 

 As usual, I reached for a pair of my favourite Primark super high waist skinny jeans which I think of as my uniform as I wear them so much for work commitments. I find them so comfortable and stylish and they hold their shape really well, plus they look formal enough for meetings as I usually wear black ones. For this outfit I chose a dark blue cold knee pair, as we were just heading out on the weekend for shopping and some lunch at one of our favourite restaurants.

 My faux leather jacket was something I purchased recently from Select, I really like it because it looks expensive and even though it is not real leather the quality and detailing is great. I have been wearing it a lot lately as it is easy to throw on with dresses or jeans and a top. My bag and boots are also Primark bargains, which are practical and easy to wear. I love skinny jeans and knee high boots for everyday wear as I like to get dressed with minimum effort and outfit planning where possible unless I have an event to go to!

I was recently given a pair of Balmain sunglasses by my partner as a gift, I am in love with them as I wear sunglasses whatever the weather and I always have a pair in my handbag! It is really good to own a couple of pairs of designer shades as they make any outfit look more polished. Even though they were expensive, these Balmain ones have gorgeous detailing on them and they come with a hard and soft case, I will be wearing them a lot to hide my tired eyes! 

This outfit is typical of what I wear for an off-duty look on the weekend, as it is more relaxed than my usual work style during the week. I also added a grey faux fur collar to give another cosy layer to the look.
