Hi guys, well it feels like forever again since I filled you in on what I have been up to. The past week has been busy, because I had family to stay for a few days from Yorkshire. It was fun and I will post about that next time, but for now this is just a quick Saturday recap on what I have been doing today. After a hectic few days, I thought it would be nice to have a more relaxing day today before going to visit family this evening. I threw on a little black dress that I got last summer, with my favourite new floppy hat and headed in to the city for a meal. I used to live five minutes walk from the restaurant I went to today, Casa Italia is famous in Liverpool for its delicious pizza and pasta. It is a really good value place, the food is lovely and there is a really rustic Italian vibe inside, with gingham table cloths, carafes of wine and waiters running around balancing multiple steaming plates in their hands. Expect to queue for a table at busy times, but believe me when I say that it is worth the wait. I have been eating there for eight years now and I have never had a bad meal. Today we had dough balls with garlic butter, and a Margherita and Quattro Stagione di Carni pizza. It was a perfect meal, washed down with a couple of glasses of the house red wine. I have to say though, I am glad I don't live close to this restaurant anymore as it is too good to resist!
After that, it was time to walk around the city and enjoy the architecture and a little bit of shopping of course (it would be rude not to!) oh my goodness guys, why is it that you always see so many things to buy when you are trying to save up?! It is always the way! I'm including a few pictures of the things I wanted to buy (but I resisted, yay!)
Outfit: All Primark
Bag: Michael Kors
I am loving a bold eye look at the moment, I use the original Urban Decay Naked Palette, any liquid black eyeliner and loads of Maybelline the colossal volume cat eyes mascara in black.
These pizzas were just too good!
Top: River Island.
This is such a cute and versatile piece, throw it on with a blazer, skinny jeans and heels for an instant outfit to go out for cocktails or shopping.
Red dress: Reiss.
This is a beautiful piece for the new season, the colour is bold and eye catching. Very classy and chic.
Grey dress: H&M.
I love the detail on this H&M dress, it looks designer. Add a floppy black wool hat and heels for an instant 70's vibe.
Camel coat: River Island.
A true wardrobe classic, everyone should have a camel coat. Which gives me a good excuse to buy one soon since I don't have one! This one is so chic.
Long cocoon cardigan: River Island.
This is perfect for shopping, trips to the cinema and cosy pub lunches. I need it!
Coffee time...espresso frapp guys, in case you were wondering!
Ah Liverpool, you are so beautiful.
Well that is about all for now lovely readers, what have you been up to lately?
